KeyStageCircus focuses mainly on supplying workshops and performers for Primary Schools, but we look to challenge children of all ages to grow through learning and presenting Circus Arts.
We have an eclectic mix of teachers, all fully DBS cleared, who come from Traditional, Street and Education backgrounds, who entertain and teach to the highest standard to provide a fun work-out for the body and mind. We all have multi-disciplinary expertise and masses of experience.

As well as provision for schools, we can provide artists suited to various sizes of events and locations, site specific and promenade work, workshops, shows, stilt-walkers, unicyclists, jesters and other spectacular performers who will astound and amaze, (as they say in the trade/it says so in the small print) your audience and participants.

We can also provide balloons and bubbles through BURBUJA !!

Vegetable Stu and other organic matter...
Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Vegetable Stu. I have been studying the Circus Arts for over thirty years, and yes I was an early starter, thank you for noticing ;-).
​
I have been teaching circus skills for over twenty years, and allied to this I have been inspired by almost fifteen years of martial art experience. This all informs my style and system of teaching.
It doesn't mean I go around chopping people in half, although it's a good living for some magicians.
​
I see the Circus Arts in three ways;
as a way of practically enhancing mind and body co-ordination,
as a way of engaging with your energy and the energy of the universe, and a discipline for personal growth, but this can be summed up in a short phrase "A LOT OF FUN !!!"

It was about ten years ago that I began to notice my increasing, how shall we say...'vegetable bearing and orientation' (who said Potato!!?). And thus Vegetable Stu was born... (which if you are 6-8 years old is hilarious)
​
I have focused on providing workshops and demonstrations in Primary Schools, both for myself and for some of the other leading companies specialising in this field, basically because I found I was very good at it (insert trumpet!!!) (don't actually insert trumpet!!!) and I just enjoy it so much.
If there is a better thing than making a child laugh, or telling a child they are brilliant when they have mastered something and seeing them believe it a little bit, well, it's right up there!!

I also do shows and workshops for public and private events, as well as working with secondary schools and SEN abilities.
​
Along the way I've also learned a few things about balloons and bubbles that I also like to share.
​
With all this experience behind me I have recently started up KEYSTAGE CIRCUS. It has allowed me to branch out and incorporate a group of trusted colleagues from across the UK, all fully DBS checked, as close to your area as possible who specialise in a wide variety of skills to meet your circus entertainment needs.
Our aim is to bring the Circus Arts into the community, make it of the community, and in teaching, for the betterment of the community.
